CIRCA: 1860's
DESCRIPTION: 10k rose gold Etruscan Revival bar pin with a rope design. A nicely designed bar bell shaped pin with Etruscan granulation ornamentation and an entwinned rope wire. C shaped tube clasp closure. Unmarked but electronically tested.
MEASUREMENTS: 2 3/16" by 1/4".

CIRCA: 1860's
DESCRIPTION: 10k rose gold child's branch coral pin with an ebossed design. Victorian's held the belief that coral warded off evil spirits and protected from sickness and was popular in children's jewelry. C-clasp closure. Unmarked but electronically tested.
MEASUREMENTS: 5/8" by 7/16".
CONDITION: Very good. Base metal pin stem & catch are an older replacement.
NOTES: Would make a one of a kind Christening gift.

CIRCA: 1880's
DESCRIPTION: An antique gold filled black enamel and seed pearl bar pin with a Greek key design and wheat design. The enamel is taille d'epargne which is also known as blak enamel tracery. Has a safety pin type clasp closure. Signed F & B.
MEASUREMENTS: 1 1/4" by 3/16".
CONDITION: Very good, slight wear to the seed pearls. Enamel is in excellent condition.
NOTES: These pins were also called pretty pins or beauty pins .

CIRCA: 1870's
DESCRIPTION: Gilded brass flower pin with black enameled petals and a baroque center pearl. The enamel is opaque black with a matte finish and most likely worn as a mourning pin. Has a c- clasp closure. Unmarked.
MEASUREMENTS: 1 1/4" in diameter.
CONDITION: Very good, slight wear to the enamel on edges of the upturned petals.

ITEM # 2201-350 Antique Gold Filled Button Coral Branch Brooch.
CIRCA: 1890's
DESCRIPTION: A later 1800's yellow gold filled branch with foliage brooch that has a button shaped coral center. Having an 8.5 mm diameter button shaped coral bead that is salmon in color. The clasp has a rotating safety clasp closure. Unmarked.
MEASUREMENTS: 2 1/8" in length by 5/8" at the widest point.
CONDITION: Excellent, some oxidation to the surface which can be polished off.
NOTES: No wear to the yellow gold surface.

ITEM # 2215-150 Victorian Rose Gold Filled Taille D'epargne Enamel & Pearl Brooch w/ Attachement Ring.
CIRCA: 1860's
DESCRIPTION: 10k rose gold filled egraved black enamel tracery bar pin with an arched design and a seed pearl accent. There is a ring on the bottom that was used to attach a tasseled bar ornament. Can be worn as a bar pin alone or used to attach a tassel, locket, etc. Safety clasp closure. Unmarked but electronically tested.
MEASUREMENTS: 2" by 9/16".
CONDITION: Fair with approx. 25% enamel loss to the left side. The left side also received slight damage to the frame and has a slight warp. Pin stem, hinge & clasp are a replacement.
NOTES: Damage and enamel loss does not stand out as obvious at normal viewing distance.

DESCRIPTION: 12k yellow gold washed over 12k rose gold Etruscan Revival Pin. Having a 2.5 mm diameter Old Mine cut Emerald accent in the center. Has a c-shaped bar clasp and tube hinge. Unmarked.
MEASUREMENTS: 1 3/4" in length by 5/8" at the widest point.
CONDITION: Excellent, some of the yellow gold top layer is worn.
NOTES: The wear to the yellow gold is not noticeable unless view under magnification.

ITEM # 1415-250 Antique 10k Rose Gold Banded Onyx Pin.
DESCRIPTION: A Victorian 10k rose gold banded Sardonyx and white Onyx pin. Having a 22 x 14 mm tablet of banded Agate (Onyx) in a bezel setting with a simple frame. Unmarked but acid tested for gold content. Measures 1" by 3/4". The pin stem is base metal with a safety clasp that was added on as a replacement. In very good condition with a slight chip in one corner and a notch in the back where a novice jeweler tested the metal.

DESCRIPTION: 1860's 10k Victorian Etruscan Revival brooch . The workmanship is very fine on this particular pin with hand hammered details and delicate Etruscan wire twist decoration. Measures 2" x 1/4". Having a c-clasp closure and tube hinge. In excellent condition with only minor surface scratches consistent with age but can be polished out if desired. ITEM # 1022 10k Victorian Hard Stone Cameo Stick Pin.
DESCRIPTION: A 10k yellow banded agate Cameo stick pin carved in high relief. The 17 x 12 mm white and black onyx (agate) cameo carving is of an Elizabethan lady in fine detail bezel set in a polished frame. From the back you can see that this was originally a ring and there a noticeable marks and a small hole where the shank was attached. Measures 3/4" x 9/16" with a 3" pin stem. The cameo is in Excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. The setting is in fair to good condition with the marks on back mentioned above.

DESCRIPTION: An unusual shaped 18k yellow gold Black Onyx pin with an engraved border. Having (2) 17 x 8mm pyramid shaped Onyx tablets that are bezel set with a scroll designed frame. One of the stones has the start of a hole drilled in the back but it does not go through the top surface, it looks like the stone was intended for a ring maybe. The back is hand inscribed JBF to LPF. Measures 1 1/2" x 9/16". Unmarked but acid tested at least 18k. Has a c-clasp closure with a safety lever. In excellent condition.

DESCRIPTION: 18k yellow gold amethyst brooch with a shield shaped frame that is engraved with a foliate border. Having a large 19 x 14mm medium to dark purple faceted amethyst. The stone is set in a multi pronged bezel mounting. Unmarked.
MEASUREMENTS: 1 1/2" by 1 1/4".
CONDITION: Very good.
NOTES: The pin stem, hinge and catch have been professionally replaced at some point in time. A bead top on one of the multi prongs is missing.
