DESCRIPTION:    A Vintage sterling silver engraved combination cigarette and card case or purse. Having a hand engraved border on the front with a lined surface and the initials M.C.A. The back is a high polished surface. The case opens to a large compartment used to store calling cards on one side and cigarettes (or can be used to hold a few dollar bills) on the other side with spring loaded clips. The interior is gilded with a gold wash. There is a 10" cable link chain to hold the purse by. Stamped sterling #81 with a hallmark of the letter W in a half circle. Could be for Whiting and Davis or Whiting & Co. Measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 5/8". Very good condition with a very slight ding on the front and  back and normal surface wear.
