Description: A vintage inspired filigree setting that takes a 6.5mm sized round gemstone or 1.00 carat diamond (shown set with a gemstone which is not included). This setting is a replica of a vintage engagement ring. They are not mass produced and are cast per order using a mold from the original antique carved die. The rings are made to appear exactly as their authentic counterparts did a century ago. The filigree is intricate with embossed details. Review the product information for this item on the Manufacture page in the "lost wax casting" section to see if this item is right for you.

See our 'curved wedding bands' to pair with your filigree engagement ring. We can adjust the curve of most bands to fit with this setting.

Measurements: Measuring 5/16" wide by 1/4" in height. Approx. ring size after casting is 7 but may vary up to 1 full size. If you need an exact ring size, select it from the drop down ring size selection box.

I bought this ring as a wedding band about a year ago, I wanted something unique and found it! This ring has held up great, very comfortable and looks one of a kind. It was a little snug, still wearable. I would order more products from here, the were fast and efficient.

I purchased this ring and took it to my jeweler to have the diamond set. Found out it needed over $650 of add'l work to finish the ring, to make it suitable for mounting. It was platinum, so special order, so I'm out over $1100 now. NO REFUNDS. Construction is extremely light weight, totally unfinished underneath, needs almost total overhaul and fortification to make strong enough to hold the stone. Be careful. This is more like costume jewelry, not a ring of any real substance. My jeweler said it contains just 1/3 the metal one should expect for a ring of this dimension. He said it is extremely light duty, not suitable for everyday wear. Buyer beware! ** admin note** Most contemporary jewelers are not aware of how antique filigree is manufactured and that it is the intention of the design to be light weight and open construction. That is why a filigree ring from an antique die is much lighter in weight than the heavy weight static looking modern filigree like designs. Customers seek out the delicate authentic filigree for these reasons. It is also why you can buy a platinum setting for $1,100 vs a modern heavy weight one for 3 times the price. Customer was not left hanging and we offered to set his diamond for $75 as we have been setting diamonds in the setting for over 10 years with no problems.
