Description: New, old stock of vintage frosted sunray crystals. These Art Deco style sunray crystals have a frosted matte finish on a semi translucent color glass base similar to rock crystal or camphor glass. Each tablet is hand pressed with an engraved top and a center divot that does not go all the way through where a stone can be glued in. There will be a slight variation in color, size and shape due to edges being ground by hand. Made in Germany and were first made to imitate the look of the Art Deco rock crystal jewelry of the 1920's.
These stones work best in settings made for low profile, flat backed stones and cabochons. Used to repair and replace lost or damaged vintage crystals or to use in your own Art Deco reproduction jewelry. Sold individually.
Measurements: This 14x7mm emerald shaped tablet has a height of 2.8mm with a 1.5mm sized divot in the center that does not go all the way through.
